Situla is a decorated (usually) bronze bucket or vessel, typical of the Hallstatt era (7th century b.c.). Novo mesto is a city of situlas, since numerous situlas have been found there. The decorations on the vessels depict various topics from the ancient times: rituals, religion, social life, market, hunting and love. The hostel is full of these sights, which take the guests back to the Iron Age.

In Situla you can overnight in:

  • Single room
  • Double room
  • Dormitory
  • A room for disabled persons
  • The apartment of the Hallstatt prince (with private bathroom)
  • The writer's apartment (with private bathroom)
The hostel has a common room as well, a café, a restaurant and a gift shop. Their pride and joy is the summer garden, which is dominated by a magnificent lime tree and where pleasant summer evenings can be spent.
