Cuk family cultivates approximately 27.000 vines on 2.5 hectares of vineyards. They grow Italian Riesling, Rhine Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, fragrant Traminer, Pinot Noir, Zweigelt, Merlot and Blaufrankisch. All wine in Cuk's wine cellars is of high quality and comes from their own vineyards. Visit Winehouse Cuk, pick one of their 'wine tasting packages' that will excite your taste buds along with the homemade cold cuts and enjoy the incredible view over the vineyards below.
Leave the car on the parking lot after the wine tasting and get comfortable in one of the nicely furnished rooms. There are 8 double rooms in the main house with en suite bathroom, satellite TV and air conditioning. Some rooms even have a small kitchen. You can also rent an idyllic individual house that is just across the courtyard and can accommodate 4-6 people. It is a fully furnished apartment with two floors that will completely overwhelm you with its style and the warmth of the wood! Fantastic!
The Cuk family farm is 7 km away from the Winehouse. They breed animals there, produce and process meet and home grown vegetables that gets served at the tastings in Cuk Winehouse. You can arrange to visit the farm where sheep, Scottish cattle, pigs, Icelandic horses and fallow deer reside. There are homemade eco goods available for purchase (bottled vegetables, jams, 'ajvar', apple juice, grape brandy, spirits, cherry, walnut or herb liqueurs).
Wandering through the vineyards, cycling trips along Mura river, thermal baths - all is within reach. A great place for a peaceful countryside getaway with excellent wines and kind people.
