Design Rooms Pr Gavedarjo, Kranjska Gora

The homestead Pr' Gavedarjo was totally renovated in December 2013. Each room now tells its own story and is dedicated to a person who used to live there in the past: father Franc, grandma Marija, aunt Silvija, daddy Janez and the stable boy Jaka. There are 5 different rooms available (a single room, a double room, a 3-bedded room, a 4-bedded room and a 3-bedded apartment).

The whole house has been renovated with the use of natural local materials; they preserved the thick walls, some old paintings and a lot of the original furniture. The architects skilfully managed to add an up-to-date touch with all the modern comfort you need for an unforgettable experience.

The homestead is located in the pleasant village of Podkoren, between Kranjska Gora and Planica, at the foothill of the Karavanke mountain chain and the Julian Alps. There's just a short walk to the skiing slopes or cross-country tracks of Kranjska Gora. The village is also a great starting point for different hiking or cycling trips on both sides of the Upper Sava Valley.

Breakfast is included in the price. You can get lunch or dinner at one of the nearby restaurants - the lovely owners will gladly advise you which ones are the best.

Pr Gavedarjo is also the first accommodation and cultural heritage building in Slovenia to receive the prestigious certificate Travelife Gold for sustainability in tourism confirming their quality and sustainable development in Podkoren, Kranjska Gora and Slovenia! Congratulations!
