Vila Triglav is located on Pokljuka plateau, among lush pine forests in the heart of Triglav National Park, only 20 minutes drive to either Lake Bled or Lake Bohinj. It used to be a villa of former Yugoslavian president Tito and was built in 1939 in typical style of Slovenia's most famous architect Jože Plečnik. Recently it has been renovated and converted into a wonderful accommodation facility. You can only rent the whole chalet with four bedrooms and up to 12 guests.
YOU CAN ONLY RENT THE COMPLETE HOUSE FOR 12 guests!
Vila Triglav is the end product of various ideas that popped in mind to Tadej Valjavec while overcoming the demanding climbs at the legendary Tour de France. Tadej is the only Slovenian cyclist who crossed the Tour's finish line in Champs-Elysees within the top ten. The offer at Vila Triglav is thus mainly related to a healthy and active way of spending your free time.
Here you can use top-notch bikes, sleds and snowshoes that you will find in the garage or relax in the 'shepherd's wellness' or in the 'house of health'. While drinking hot tea you can enjoy a drainage therapy with resting in the hay, or having a classic or sport massage. Infrared and Finnish sauna are also included in the wellness offer. The speciality of Vila Triglav is a 'wooden tub' out in the open, which is heated with firewood and creates (especially in snowy winter evenings) a magical romantic atmosphere.
Guests can choose among 4 rooms of different sizes. They are all equipped with bathroom, mini bar and LCD television.
You can undergo a special activity program in nature. Another speciality of the resort is their 'altitude training' i.e. a health therapy where a Triglav-like (or Tibetan) atmosphere is created in rooms with the help of a hypoxic device. The created atmosphere has less oxygen and is scientifically proven to accelerate all the processes in our organism. In this way, it strengthens the organism, while having anti-allergic and anti-stress effects at the same time.
