Starting point:
The starting point is Vršič pass (1611 m), on the road 'Kranjska Gora – Bovec'. In case the road is not wholly negotiable due to snow, you have to park lower, which can make the tour much longer.

From Vršič ascend westwards directly or in hair-pins across the wide & steep slope. Soon you will notice a clear saddle called Vratca on your left, where the 'usual' path to Mojstrovka leads, but on the far right opens a terrain towards Šitna Glava. Traverse the wide slope towards the right and ascend to the highest part of the ridge. This is Šitna Glava – a 'humble' neighbor of Mala Mojstrovka. Descend in the direction of the ascent.
