1906 was a very important year for tourism in Bled. The town was declared a holiday resort and it received the status of tourist attraction. The railway connection between Bled and Vienna was established and even the Archduke Franz Ferdinand came to pay a visit to Bled. The same year the hotel Triglav Bled officially opened its doors and even today we can get carried away to that era: the concert piano from the 1930s, the antique furniture, the porcelain and the lit fireplace all evoke a unique atmosphere.
There are 22 bright and airy rooms furnished with selected antiques and works of art. They all boast a magnificent view of the lake and most of them have their own balcony. Air conditioning, mini bar, wi-fi, TV, hair dryer and safe are all part of the standard equipment. You can make use of the indoor swimming pool and Finnish sauna as well, or get a relaxing massage from the excellent massage therapists.
The offer is completed with the fantastic Restaurant 1906 Bled led by chef Viktor Gros, which serves traditional dishes prepared in a modern and sophisticated way. They are also justifiably proud of their wine cellar with more than 150 excellent Slovenian wines.
This is the right place to impress your loved ones, family, guests or business partners. The place and atmosphere are ideal for all kinds of business meetings, seminars, anniversaries and weddings. During these events their motto 'You will feel that we work from the heart' becomes very noticeable. Attention to details, tasteful decor covers, exquisite food and selected wine accompanied by good music will make it all an unforgettable experience.
We recommend the hotel to everyone looking for top-notch service and superb food on a unique location.
