The medieval house Lectar is built in the traditional way, but offers perfect modern comfort. There are 9 individually styled double rooms, named after the tradesmen from Radovljica’s past (shoemaker, blacksmith, chemist...). All the rooms have:
- a bathroom
- air conditioning
- cable TV
- internet connection (wi-fi)
- a mini bar
- a terrace viewing the mountains and the old historic centre
The special feature of House Lectar is the lectar workshop, where you can witness the old, original process of lect making (shaped, decorated pastry made from honey dough). Visitors can get guided tours of the workshop (or museum) or buy lect products.
In the house there is also the renowned restaurant Lectar, where you can taste traditional home-made dishes. The restaurant and the workshop are open every day except Tuesdays, and every day in summer.
