Tourist farm Želinc, Cerkno

Želinc tourist farm is hidden on a quiet meadow in Idrijca river valley not far from Cerkno in western part of Slovenia. In summertime (from May until September) you can swim in a beautiful pool while the surroundings offer a variety of hiking and biking tours. Location is also ideal for fishers and skiers since Cerkno ski resort is only a 15-minute drive away.

With winter visitors in mind the farm also houses a smaller wellness center with a massage tub and a Finnish or infrared sauna. You can indulge yourself with different massages after a tiring day of skiing.

Želinc farm is home to excellent cooks that always keep the tables rich with local delicacies. No wonder that most guests opt for half-board accommodation.

You can choose between single, double or family rooms that also have a small kitchen to prepare simple meals. All the rooms have their own bathrooms, satellite TV and wireless Internet.

Želinc also rents out bikes and you can navigate the area with help of a unique biking map made by the owner's son, Nejc. The staff can recommend various activities and can also provide you with a biking, hiking or a fishing guide to show you Slovenia's hidden corners.
